I'm recently actually quite worried about schoolwork though I try not to be. But my graded assignments and test from Term One has been marked and is now returned to us. My geography wasnt that good to be honest. But you cant quite blame me because during the test period, my grandma passed away and most of the time was spent at her funeral, mostly praying for her. But the thing here is I dont think that many of classmates did well too so I just need to know what my ranking is, what my place in my class is. Maybe I'm one of the last in class. Eww horrid.
Then there's physics graded assignment which is fine but the thing is if everyone does fine too, then I'm not doing too well, again, I really need to know my ranking. Same scenario for maths. Aish.
Recently, on 23 March 2015, Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away in SGH at 3.18 a.m. (It was the exact hospital my grandma was in.) I know you probably read around or heard many people say this but I dont think this can ever be said enough. He has really done a lot for our country Singapore, he's the father of our nation and he will always be in the remembrance of everyone's memory. His legacy will be known to kids in the future and passed on; it's like the flame of torch you see. He has lit the flame so brightly for us, and guided us through our toughest times of the country, brought us into independence with this flame of torch. Now, our biggest responsibility is to keep this torch burning for future generations and for Singapore. Really really hope that he could be with us for our SG 50 celebrations. It would have been so meaningful for him to see the nation turning 50 and coming thus far. But I guess I would say, I'm also glad that he doesnt need to suffer anymore and could soon be with his wife and watch over us in the skies. RIP Mr Lee Kuan Yew. You will always be remembered.

Meh today was scolded by my mum. :( I swear my mum is the only person in the world who could make me cry by scolding me. I was supposed to meet my friends for a project at a hotel. But I didnt tell her when I'm going out and she only knew like what 20 minutes before I'm due to go out. So she kept me in the house to eat my lunch. But to be honest, I'm really thankful to her for keeping me at home because I'm sure I would be suffering if I go out, what with the super cold environment outside, as well as my uncomfortable stomach and the long journey. Well, I had stomach flu this morning, it felt like it though I didnt feel any intense pain. But my stomach felt weird the whole day at home. My mum isnt convinced; she says it's because of all the salad we ate these few nights. Well, but then I was having second thoughts if I should still go, what if I poop on the way there? But then I didnt want my mum to say I'm so paranoid and whatnot so I decided to just go. Therefore, I'm super glad that she decided to keep me at home because that gives me a reason to stay home and not go out to the hotel to interview whilst having an uncomfortable stomach situation.
But that's not the point of this blog post. The point today is on SALADS!!! As well as food art. So these few days, for dinner, my family and I have been eating salads and my mother ask me to help prepare them every night. At first I was just like whyyyyyyyy. But then I gradually started to appreciate the opportunity for me to create food art! And it is seriously very healthy to eat salads and also very fun to prepare them. I took some photos of my creations. But to be honest, my photo skills very bleh so the photos probably dont do the salad justice. But anyway let's give it up for SALADS!!!
But this one seriously taught me about colour combination and how colour is important in food (art).
Yup and that's about it. Oh and I just created a Twitter account @teeheestrawbery and also do follow on insta: theartof_creation. Main point of the blog: food art is really fun and salads are healthy. And remember keep making salads. :D

Blog Post #11
Hey guys! So I have been quite busy this period, what with my grandma's funeral and stuff. oh and projects too. But now's the March holidays! (Actually we are already into the third day of it XD) But I'm actually very glad for this holiday. It's a break from school (actually not really, we still have those homework) and also I get to wake up later as well as the freedom to do my own stuff. Yay!
So recently, I have been back to watching movies like woah! Yay! Haha very very happy because idk it's like my favourite pastime. So Monday, I watched Divergent. Yes yes I did not watch it in the cinemas. I'm very late yes. But to be honest, I dont get the whole thing about going to the cinemas to watch movies. First money. Second you will have friends with you. Which can be annoying sometimes. When your friends are like, "Whats going on now? What did he ____? What did she ____?" Yea. Or they could also go, "She's going to beat him next. They are going to kiss now." Or the most annoying of all. "How do you know that?" Well you watch the movie carefully and pay attention. "Are you sure? I dont think so." Well you asked me for my opinion and you tell me it's wrong. Sure. And there's always the element of interacting. So yup, I'm totally cool sitting at home in front my laptop watching movies alone without popcorn, not caring if people say I'm late. Oh back to the blog. So yesterday, Tuesday, I watched Maleficent! I really really like the start and end scene cause it's just so beautiful and I'm just really urgghhh by Stefan like wow really for royalty. But I guess we cant blame him either, he was poor once, he doesnt want to be poor again. Haha and I really like Maleficent's personality like her sarcasm and stuff. Eg. "Ooh the little beastie is going to fall off the cliff." Oh and I somehow really like the raven. "Pretty bird." And today, Wednesday, I'm gonna watch "When in Rome" which is this comedic romance film. Haha I caught it once in TV but I only watched like the middle part of it and I really liked it so there, I'm gonna watch it today.
And yay! I'm also gonna make farewell cards for my seniors who are going to be leaving soon and I will be uploading a blog post on how to make the card.
Then I was also planning on crocheting a clover plush. You know what with St. Patrick's Day and all. I guess it's because of all the videos I have watched on DIY cards and drawings that I'm now all in the clover mood. So yea, I just need to see if there's any free pattern I can find online.
Err I'm actually also planning to make a pastel drawing. A simple one maybe the scene of a beach. I'm just wanting to try out a new medium not exactly new but you know use crayons to make nice artworks not just randomly scribbling and breaking crayons like I used to back then when I was a kid.
And then, yea catch up with my work and stuff so I'm not so stress when I go back to school.
Oh on Monday, I went to the library to look for some history reference book on Lenin but I couldnt find any so I just went to borrow Lee Child again. Haha it's really addicting and it's even better that it's in a book not a movie because then I can actually imagine out the whole scene and it's as if I'm directing my own movie. Yes, I'm weird. Oh and I will probably be watching One Shot tomorrow or something. But then when I was about to leave the library the announcement for a bookmark making workshop came and I was all excited and stuff but then when I go into the activity room I realised it was for kids, not people my age. Haha it was pretty embarrassing. But anyway I still sat through that half hour and this is my product.
Haha gosh you wouldnt have guessed what it was. My best friend said it reminds her of a stingray. Well guess what. It's a frog in a tuxedo!!!
Okay end of my blog post! Look forward to the artsy ideas post!!! It will be up soon but that depends on how you define soon XD. The art account on insta is theartof_creation.

P.S I changed this quote a little so it may sound weird. To understand this quote, please read this book. It's so timely that this book talks about Jack Reacher's mum having cancer when my grandma has just recently passed away from it.
